The Vision
Versant is more than a mountain. More than a community. It is life at the highest.
Meaning "hillside slope," Versant is named for the graceful lines and natural grandeur of the mountain. A mountain whose beauty will be preserved.
As the first and only member of the Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary Program in the North Carolina Mountains, nature governs how the land is developed. Versant's estate-sized homes and community buildings will be constructed to blend with the natural surroundings. Grading will be minimized, and over 50 acres of Versant will remain untouched.
At the top of the mountain, The Village Center is where the community comes together. Inspired by the community squares of European hillside villages, Versant's heart is its Village Center. Here people can shop, swim, lunch, relax, chat, play or enjoy a concert in the fresh mountain air. A center of activity within a peaceful mountain setting.
Versant is where nature and luxury meet at a peak. You can live the catered life of a resort. And enjoy the quiet life of mountain solitude. You can immerse yourself in activity and adventure. Or surround yourself in peace and quiet. Whatever you choose. Versant is not just our vision. It's also yours.
